Pro-life journalists for the Center for Medical Progress (CMP), who recorded damning undercover video of Planned Parenthood (PP) employees discussing the harvesting and sale of aborted fetal tissue, released a new video Tuesday featuring officials admitting that PP illegally profited from the sale of the body parts of babies aborted in its clinics.
Contrary to their public denials when the undercover videos were first released, the officials’ sworn testimony in the abortion conglomerate’s lawsuit against CMP validates the revelations in the videos.
Among the featured officials is Deborah Nucatola, senior director of medical services for Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA), testified, “I knew [PP Los Angeles] was getting payments because I was a provider there.” Former PPLA medical director Mary Gatter testified that PPFA provided a “waiver” to PPLA to begin a program with for-profit biomedical company Novogenix. Dorothy Furgerson, chief medical officer of Planned Parenthood Mar Monte (PPMM), signed a contract to sell fetal body parts to StemExpress per specimen “determined in the clinic to be usable.”
CMP chief David Daleiden wrote in a statement, “Planned Parenthood lied to the public and to Congress, but now there is no longer any reasonable doubt that Planned Parenthood sold fetal body parts, commodifying living children in the womb and treating pregnant women like a cash crop.”
