House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Tuesday that President Trump’s criticism of Rep. Ilhan Omar’s controversial comment diminishing the 9/11 attacks was creating “real danger.”
Pelosi came to the Muslim congresswoman’s defense after Trump shared a video online linking Omar’s comment and 9/11 footage. “The President’s words weigh a ton, and his hateful and inflammatory rhetoric creates real danger,” Pelosi said. “President Trump must take down his disrespectful and dangerous video.”
