In an eye-opening interview with CNN host Wolf Blitzer about Congress’ just-passed coronavirus relief bill, testy House Speaker Nancy Pelosi completely lost control of her temper and launched into the CNN propagandist, who struck back on behalf of American citizens standing in food lines and begging on the streets during the holiday season
“You evidently do not respect the chairmen of the committees who wrote this bill,” Pelosi charged after Blitzer questioned how much the bill would actually help Americans in financial trouble. Blitzer tried to leave it on that note, but Pelosi wouldn’t let it go. “No, let’s leave it on the note that you are not right about this, Wolf.”
“It’s not about me,” Wolf shot back,” it’s about millions of Americans who can’t put food on the table, who can’t pay the rent, who have trouble getting by –”
“And WE represent them,” Pelosi began chanting. “WE represent them. We KNOW them.” Blitzer again tried to close the segment, but Pelosi sarcastically put in, “Thank you for your sensitivity to our constituents’ needs.”
“I am sensitive to them, because I see them every day on the streets begging for food and for money,” Blitzer returned.
“Have you fed them? We feed them,” Pelosi claimed ludicrously, trying to get the last word in. Pelosi and her fellow Democrats feed Americans? No, they have taken food off the table of millions of Americans through their draconian, business-destroying lockdowns. Blitzer was right (for once) to challenge her.
