California Democrat and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi revealed in an interview that will air Monday evening on CNN International and PBS that she agrees Democrats need “new blood,” but she isn’t going anywhere while Donald Trump is president.
Pelosi told CNN’s Christiane Amanpour that she agrees “it’s time for new blood and we should move on.” She added that if Hillary Clinton had won the election and the Affordable Care Act was in place, “I was happy to go my way. But to have no woman at the table and to have the Affordable Care Act at risk, I said, ‘As long as [Trump’s] here, I’m here.”
