In a closed-door meeting with House Democrats on Tuesday, California Democrat congresswoman Nancy Pelosi claimed that President Trump’s insistent focus on building a border wall stems from a “manhood” issue.

“It’s like a manhood thing for him,” Pelosi told the Democrats at the Capitol after a tense White House meeting with Trump in which he repeatedly threatened to shut down the federal government if Congress fails to cough up at least $5 billion for his long-sought border wall with Mexico.

“As if manhood could ever be associated with him,” she added.
