Pelosi: ‘Humanitarian Challenge’ at Border Due to Climate Change

March 16, 2021

Sunday on ABC’s This Week, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi claimed that the tsunami of illegal aliens surging across the U.S.-Mexico border has been sparked by climate change.

“There are more children, about 600, 700 more children, unaccompanied children coming over the border,” Pelosi stated confusedly. “This is a humanitarian challenge to all of us. What the administration has inherited is a broken system at the border, and they are working to correct that in the children’s interest.”

Fact check: the Biden administration has not inherited a broken system, but is actively overwhelming the system — intentionally, to usher in millions of new Democrat voters who will forever change the demographics, culture, and political landscape of the United States.

“My most recent trip to the northern triangle, that would be Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, you saw the impact of climate change,” Pelosi continued. “These people were leaving because of the drought. They couldn’t farm, and they were seeking other ways to survive. There are many reasons to go into this, but the fact we have to deal with it at the border, and some of the people coming there are seeking asylum.”

Masses of migrants are coming to the border not because of climate change or even asylum in the strict sense, but because they know the Biden administration will welcome them with open arms and tons of government assistance.
