At her weekly press briefing Thursday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told reporters she is concerned for President Trump’s well-being.
Painting Trump’s behavior during discussions of infrastructure legislation as erratic and petulant, Pelosi said, “Again I pray for the president of the United States. I wish his family, his administration or his staff would have an intervention for the good of the country.”
A reporter prompted that her comments “almost suggest you are concerned for his well being.”
“I am, and the well-being of the United States of America,” she replied.
