Pelosi: ‘Civilization as We Know It Is at Stake’ in 2020 Election

March 10, 2020

Speaking at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, on Monday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told the audience that “civilization as we know it is at stake” in the upcoming election

As reported by Breitbart News, this echoed Pelosi’s claim at a CNN town hall in December that “civilization, as we know it today, is at stake in this election.”

She also spoke out about women in politics — “Just generally, I usually always cast my vote for a woman. I just do” — confirming that the left votes not for the most qualified person but according to identity politics .

Her comments came after the White House announced that President Trump would skip her annual St. Patrick’s Day lunch: “Since the Speaker has chosen to tear this Nation apart with her actions and her rhetoric, the President will not participate in moments where she so often chooses to drive discord and disunity, and will instead celebrate the rich history and strong ties between the United States and Ireland at the White House on March 12.”
