In an interview with San Francisco’s KPIX on Tuesday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi laughably praised decrepit President Joe Biden’s catastrophic troop withdrawal Afghanistan as “strong” and “decisive.” She also stated that the “disarray” in that country, which has been seized by the Taliban, “has to be corrected.”
No one has been able to “correct” the “disarray” in that savage graveyard of empires in all of recorded history, which is why America herself is pulling out.
Asked whether the U.S. should have had a stronger military force during the transition, Pelosi responded, “Well, first, may I just say that I commend the president for the action that he took. It was strong. It was decisive. And it was the right thing to do. We should have been out of Afghanistan a while back.”
Leaving Afghanistan was former President Trump’s decision. Throwing Trump’s withdrawal strategy out the window and leaving the country unprepared for a Taliban takeover was Biden’s decision, and it was neither strong nor decisive nor the right thing to do. It was weak, stupid, and disastrous.
“But now, we are — unfortunately, one of the possibilities was that it would be in disarray, as it is. But that has to be corrected. And it is my understanding, from the assurances we have received, that the military will be there, negotiating with the Taliban for the safe exit of American citizens and friends, people who have helped us, our allies there, and people who work in the nonprofit sector, but also, not just U.S. NGOs, but those who have worked in Afghan NGOs as well, who would be targets.”
She has “received assurances” that we can negotiate with the Taliban for their safe exit? What planet does Pelosi live on? The fraudulent president she helped put in power has ineptly turned over literally tons of military hardware and tens of thousands of hostages to barbaric Islamic terrorists who are not interested in negotiation, but in total victory over America.
The only thing that can be assured is that this will result in countless American deaths not just in Afghanistan but throughout America and the Western world as the freshly-empowered Taliban export more violent jihad.
