In an episode of her series The Oprah Conversation, billionaire media mogul Oprah Winfrey declared that “whiteness” and “white privilege” give white people an automatic advantage in the “caste system” of America.
“There are white people who are not as powerful as the system of white people — the caste system that’s been put in place — but they still, no matter where they are on the rung, or the ladder of success, they still have their whiteness,” Oprah stated in an episode titled “Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man: Part 1” (referring to former NFL linebacker Emmanuel Acho and his YouTube series of the same name), in which she spoke with several white guests who admitted becoming “woke” to their own supposed racism.
Whites have a “leg up,” she continued. “You still have your whiteness. That’s what the term ‘white privilege’ is. It means that whiteness still gives you an advantage, no matter. It is the fundamental issue.”
And yet Donald Trump is the one called divisive. There is nothing more divisive in America society today than the left’s ugly lie that this is a white supremacist country, that white privilege exists, and that whites are collectively racist and blacks are collectively victims.
