In a speech at a video set across the street from the White House on Tuesday, open-borders enthusiast and epically incompetent Vice President Kamala Harris condemned human trafficking as “an extremely heinous and profitable business.”
“Let’s be clear: When we’re talking about human trafficking, we are talking about some human beings who are essentially buying and selling other human beings,” she said.
Yes, that’s what the term “human trafficking” means.
Kamala went on to blame — what else? — COVID for the surge in human trafficking that has taken place under the Biden administration, before calling on all businesses and political leaders to unite and stamp out this scourge.
But former border security officials lay the blame squarely on the Biden administration’s open border policies. “When you increase the number of people being smuggled, the increase in trafficking goes along with that, so if they’re really, really serious not just about addressing and reacting to trafficking if they’re really serious about trying to prevent it, they’d secure our borders,” former acting Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Mark Morgan said in a December interview with Fox News.
