Campaigning for White House hopeful Bernie Sanders in Minneapolis Sunday night, Somali-born Rep. Ilhan Omar declared she is thrilled to support a president “who will fight against Western imperialism.”
“I am beyond honored and excited for a president who will fight against Western imperialism and fight for a just world,” Omar told the crowd.
“Here’s the cold truth,” Omar continued. “We can’t achieve any of these goals if we don’t build a movement that is representative of all of our aspirations, all of our pain, and all of our shared trauma. That is why we must build a mass movement of the working class that transcends faith, age, gender, and background.”
Of course, there is no more Western imperialism. What the sharia-supporting Omar and the aging Communist Sanders mean by “Western imperialism,” and what they want to bring down, is capitalist Western civilization. They are perfect representatives of the modern anti-American Democrat Party.
