On Wednesday, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez released her four-point immigration plan for dealing with the crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border.
Ocasio-Cortez, who refers to border detention facilities as “concentration camps,” unveiled her plan on social media. It calls for more aid to Central America’s “Northern Triangle” (El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras), the implementation of her Green New Deal to reduce the flow of “refugees,” the decriminalization of illegal border crossings, and massive government spending to stimulate the economy.
As Breitbart notes, her plan includes no provision for border security, for fighting Mexican drug cartels, or for protecting women and children from sexual assault, violence, or trafficking.
