Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez responded to President Trump’s criticism of her “Green New Deal” proposal as a poorly-graded school paper by declaring that he is too illiterate to “read briefings written in full sentences.”
At a rally in El Paso, Texas, Trump dismissed Ocasio-Cortez’s widely-mocked wish list of “green” goals, saying “It sounds like a high school term paper that got a low mark.”
“Ah yes,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted, “a man who can’t even read briefings written in full sentences is providing literary criticism of a House Resolution.”
