Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was a guest judge Friday on RuPaul’s Drag Race, accepting praise from a group of drag queens for standing up to “evil” President Trump, who represents “the worst part of our nature.”
“You standing up to that man every day — how can we all complain about anything, when you literally stand in the face of what I think is the worst part of our nature as humans?” drag queen Jackie Cox told the far-left Ocasio-Cortez. Another drag queen yelled “evil” to describe Trump. A third echoed that description.
“Seeing you working in congress in solidarity with congresswoman [Rashida] Tlaib and congresswoman [Ilhan] Omar gives me so much hope for our country,” a tearful Cox added about the radical anti-Semites.
“But we all do it in our own way,” said Ocasio-Cortez. “People think congress and government is all about leading people, but ultimately, a lot of our politics is about following the public will. And the people who change what people think are artists, and drag queens.” Drag queens.
