Former President Barack Obama suggested on Monday that President Trump is not solving the world’s problems because he has “racism” and “mommy issues.”
In a conversation with author Dave Eggers at the Obama Foundation summit in Chicago, Obama claimed that the world’s problems — “climate change, education, agriculture and so on” — are “not nearly as complicated as they are made out to be.” The reason “we” — alluding to Trump — don’t solve them, he explained, “is because we are still confused, blind, shrouded with hate, anger, racism, mommy issues.”
The world “badly needs remaking,” Obama added.
