Obama Joins Democrats’ Push for Vote-by-Mail

April 13, 2020

Saul Alinsky protégé and former President Barack Obama jumped on the bandwagon of Democrat leaders calling for the United States to implement voting-by-mail for the upcoming election.

“Let’s not use the tragedy of a pandemic to compromise our democracy,” Obama tweeted, citing a New York Times story defending voting by mail. “Check the facts of vote by mail.”

“No one should be forced to choose between their right to vote and their right to stay healthy like the debacle in Wisconsin this week,” he added. “Everyone should have the right to vote safely, and we have the power to make that happen… This shouldn’t be a partisan issue.”

But it is a partisan issue, because Republicans know that the only reason Democrats are pushing for it is that voting by mail is ripe for fraud, and Democrats are nothing if not voter frauds. “I think a lot of people cheat with mail-in voting,” President Trump recently noted, adding reasonably that “I think people should vote with ID, with Voter ID.”
