Former President Barack Obama endorsed dozens of Democrats in races across the country on Monday, including Democratic Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in her New York House race.
Obama seemed to snub Ocasio-Cortez during his initial round of 81 endorsements over the summer, but this time Obama included her name on the list of 260 endorsed candidates for governor, U.S. Senate, U.S. House and state legislatures.
“Our incredible array of candidates up and down the ticket, all across the country, make up a movement of citizens who are younger, more diverse, more female than ever before,” Obama said in a statement.
