Obama Breaks Silence After Biden Victory in SC

March 2, 2020

After presidential contender Joe Biden‘s victory in the So. Carolina primary on Saturday, ex-President Barack Obama broke his silence with a congratulatory call.

Obama reportedly called to congratulate Biden as the party faces the possibility that Biden rival Bernie Sanders has a chance for a big delegate lead ahead of Super Tuesday, wherein 14 states will vote for their choice for candidate, according to Breitbart News.

Obama previously had not called Pete Buttigieg after the South Bend Mayor won Iowa or Sanders after the raging socialist won New Hampshire or Nevada.

Obama still will not endorse Biden, a position he took at the beginning of the campaign. Obama had even hinted that it wouldn’t be a good idea for Biden even to run. Biden himself claims, rather incredibly, that he had asked his former boss not to endorse him. “[E]veryone knows I’m close with him,” Biden explained. “I don’t need an Obama endorsement.” Actually, he does, considering the serious competition he is now facing from socialist Sanders.
