Former President Barack Obama, the nation’s real Divider-in-Chief, predictably blamed conservative media and Republicans after agitators from a crowd President Trump supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday.
Obama said in a statement that Trump incited the violence on Capitol Hill, but he blamed the Republican Party and “its accompanying media ecosystem” for not telling their supporters the truth.
“Their fantasy narrative has spiraled further and further from reality, and it builds upon years of sown resentments,” Obama wrote. “Now we’re seeing the consequences, whipped up into a violent crescendo.”
Actually, what we saw was the consequences of years upon years of the fantasy narratives of the leftist media, an election stolen by massive Democrat voter fraud, and the division stoked by the Marxist Obama and his race-mongering ilk.
Obama went on to urge Republican leaders to “choose reality” and stop stoking the “raging fires” of their supporters. Curiously, Obama never once urged Democrat leaders to stop stoking the raging fires of Black Lives Matter rioters or Antifa thugs in the year leading up to the election.
