NPR: Hard For ‘People Who Menstruate’ to Find Tampons

June 14, 2022

In a report published Sunday about the current tampon shortage women are facing in America, National Public Radio (NPR) used the woke term “people who menstruate” instead of “women.”

“People who menstruate are saying it’s hard to find tampons on store shelves across the U.S. right now, as supply chain upsets reach the feminine care aisle,” the report’s lede read, pandering to the bullying transgender lobby.

Farther down in the report, the word “women” is used, as well as “mothers”: “It’s another supply chain problem where women are bearing the brunt of the cost, as mothers struggle to feed their babies during the baby formula shortage,” it said.

Trans radicals argue, against the most basic biological reality, that trans men can have periods, not just “women.” These gender ideology activists also urge replacing “mothers” with the ludicrous term “birthing people.”

The Biden administration, which has made the radical LGBT agenda a prominent plank of its platform, used the term “birthing people” instead of “mothers” in its 2022 fiscal year budget
