The National Newspaper Publishers Association honored California Democrat congresswoman Maxine Waters with a “National Leadership Award” on Friday.
In her acceptance speech, Waters once again called for the impeachment of President Trump, to the applause of the audience of media leaders. “All I want for him and about him is to be impeached and get him out of the White House!” she yelled.
As for the ousting of Trump leading to a President Mike Pence, she added, “Knock off the first one, and then go after the second one.”
