NBC news boss Andy Lack emailed his staff members an exhaustive defense of the network’s decision not to air journalist Ronan Farrow’s investigation of Harvey Weinstein’s alleged sexual misconduct, denying rumors that the disgraced Hollywood mogul had any role in the rejection of the story.
The decision to let Farrow take the bombshell story to The New Yorker magazine instead became an embarrassment when Farrow went on to share a Pulitzer Prize with The New York Times for the investigation.
