The New Black Panther Party launched a national boycott of “Chinese merchants” on Tuesday to protest China’s treatment of Africans, according to Breitbart.
Attorney Malik Zulu Shabazz announced the “Buy Black Offensive” to protest discrimination in the People’s Republic of China, as well as the behavior of Chinese companies in Africa. He also staged a press conference outside the Chinese embassy, calling Chinese merchants the “bloodsucker of the black community.”
He issued a press release listing targeted businesses and blaming the Chinese regime for “vicious human rights violations; anti-Black racism of Africans living in China; supplying the Black community with poor quality and substandard food; exploiting the local retail market; refusing to hire Blacks; rude, disrespectful treatment; and failure to assist community organizations.”
The release threatened, “Harm to Africans in China can bring Harm to Chinese in America, Africa, and worldwide” and warned of “serious economic, political, and legal consequences” for China and its merchants.
