Nadler: ‘Possible’ We Vote on Articles of Impeachment

December 9, 2019

Sunday on CNN’s State of the Union, House Judiciary Committee chairman Rep. Jerry Nadler said it was “possible” that the House would vote on articles of President Trump’s impeachment this week.

Asked if it were possible that Representatives would vote on the issue in the upcoming week, Nadler replied, “It is possible. I don’t know.” Then he added, “My goal is to do this as expeditiously and fairly as possible, depending on how long it takes.”

That same day on NBC’s Meet the Press, Nadler also said if Trump was acquitted in an impeachment Senate trial, he does not know if the 2020 presidential election will be a fair one. “The president, based on his past performance, will do everything he can to make it not a fair election, and that is part of what gives us urgency to proceed with this impeachment,” Nadler mused.

The Democrats still refuse to accept the reality that Donald Trump beat the corrupt, unlikable, “deplorable”-hating globalist Hillary Clinton fair and square in 2016. This denial will cost them the presidency in 2020 too.
