Speaking at a global climate strike protest in Washington, D.C. on Friday, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler declared that the threat of climate change is greater than that of a world war.
“We have to make sure people feel the depth and the immediacy of this crisis, which is approaching us much more rapidly and much worse than the scientists proposed twenty years ago and ten years ago,” Nadler stated, fanning the flames of climate change hysteria.
“Half measures will not do. We are facing a crisis,” he added. “If we had a world war, God forbid, the country would mobilize. This is more important than a world war, and the country must mobilize, the world must mobilize.”
The Democrats’ plan to address climate change predictably requires big-government, anti-capitalist solutions. Otherwise, Nadler noted, the planet will be reduced to “bacteria and maybe a few plants.”
