Thursday on MSNBC’s The Last Word, host Lawrence O’Donnell shared a photo sent to him by actor/activist Martin Sheen of a “TRUMP/PUTIN?” bumper sticker mocking President Trump’s reelection bid.
“As we were just discussing Donald Trump’s running mate Vladimir Putin during the last segment, Janet and Martin Sheen texted me — they can’t see it, maybe you can see it — a bumper sticker that a friend of theirs has already made up saying ‘Trump Putin 2020,’” O’Donnell chuckled as he held up his phone. “That’s straight from Malibu, from Janet and Martin Sheen.”
O’Donnell had been discussing reports of Russia supposedly working to help Trump get reelected, calling the president a “Russian operative” and declaring Vladimir Putin his “running mate.”
Even after the left’s desperate, 3-year investigation into purported Russian collusion in the 2016 election turned up nothing, they continue to push the conspiracy theory that Trump is Putin’s puppet. They simply cannot accept that the American people elected Trump.
