According to a recent Monmouth University poll, most Democrat voters believe Barack Obama was a better president than George Washington.
The poll revealed that 63% of Democrats consider Obama a better president than Washington. Only 29% thought Washington was better. Among Republicans, 44% said Washington was a better president than Trump, while 37% said the opposite. Out of all voters surveyed, 58% said Washington was a better president than Obama, who had 33% supporting him. Compared to Trump, Washington got 71% support, while only 15% thought Trump was a better president. Among independents, 72% say Washington is better than Trump and 62% say he is better than Obama.
“Democrats may be more likely than Republicans to be influenced by recency bias, valuing what they are familiar with over historical opinion,” said Patrick Murray, director of Monmouth University’s polling institute. “It’s a fun question to ask, but I’m not sure what it means.”
It means today’s Dems are historically ignorant radicals.
