Sunday on MSNBC’s The Mehdi Hasan Show, documentary propagandist Michael Moore claimed our defense spending should address threats such as the “climate catastrophe,” “white supremacy” and the coronavirus.
Last week, the House of Representatives passed the National Defense Authorization Act, which directed $768 billion in spending for national defense.
“A defense bill — when we think defense, we should be thinking defending ourselves against the climate catastrophe that’s creating an extinction event on this planet,” Moore mused. “That’s what defense should mean.”
No, defense should mean protection against enemies internal and external, not against bad weather, which no defense can
“It should be defense against white supremacists and people who would tear down and destroy our democracy,” the anti-white racist demagogue Moore continued. “That would be real defense.”
Real defense would address the Marxist revolutionary rioting of Black Lives Matter and the leftist shock troops of Antifa, both movements of which have wreaked nationwide violence and devastation. White supremacists are the most politically and culturally insignificant threat imaginable in America. But they’re an easy ideological boogeyman for leftist propagandists like the abhorrent Moore.
“You know, COVID, still, not just in our country but around the world, people are not vaccinated. If we want to defend this country, defend the world, let’s do that. It’s so wrong-headed,” Moore blathered.
Defend the world? That is just stupid nonsense. Getting people vaccinated is not a defense issue. As always, Moore has no idea what he’s talking about and is an expert on nothing, yet the leftist media gives him a platform to spread his hateful stupidity.
