Michelle O: Trump ‘Spread Racist Lies’ About Barack in 2016

November 18, 2020

In an Instagram post on Tuesday, former first lady Michelle Obama criticized President Trump for not conceding to challenger Joe Biden, while saying it had been difficult to transfer power to Trump in 2016 because “he spread racist lies” about her husband, former President Barack Obama.

“Donald Trump had spread racist lies about my husband that had put my family in danger,” Michelle wrote, not specifying what those “racist lies” were. “That wasn’t something I was ready to forgive. But I knew that, for the sake of our country, I had to find the strength and maturity to put my anger aside.”

“This week, I’ve been reflecting a lot on where I was four years ago,” she continued. “Hillary Clinton had just been dealt a tough loss by a far closer margin than the one we’ve seen this year. I was hurt and disappointed—but the votes had been counted and Donald Trump had won.”

She went on to pontificate about how Trump should listen now to the American people and concede a loss to Biden, for the sake of “a respectful, seamless transition of power—one of the hallmarks of American democracy.” Michelle failed to note that her party blatantly attempted to steal the election for Biden and that no winner has officially been declared.

She also failed to note that the only political violence that has been perpetrated during Trump’s term has been committed by the left, not conservatives, and that if Trump is declared the winner, leftist violence will wrack this nation.
