In an Instagram post on Monday, former first lady Michelle Obama suggested that Trump administration officials and Republican lawmakers should simply accept that Democrat candidate Joe Biden has won the 2020 presidential election.
“Our love of country requires us to respect the results of an election even when we don’t like them or wish it had gone differently—the presidency doesn’t belong to any one individual or any one party,” Michelle O pontificated. “To pretend that it does, to play along with these groundless conspiracy theories—whether for personal or political gain—is to put our country’s health and security in danger. This isn’t a game.”
This echoes the call on Sunday of her husband, former President Barack Obama, for President Trump to “think beyond your own ego” and concede the race to the corrupt, doddering Biden.
Trump and the GOP certainly would concede the election to Biden — if the latter had won fairly. But no winner has yet been declared because of investigations into massive Democrat voter fraud.
