Michelle O. Campaign Stokes Fear of Racist Voter Suppression

Former First Lady Michelle Obama’s voter registration organization When We All Vote is stoking fear of racially-motivated voter suppression in a celebrity-driven campaign targeting HBCUs — historically black colleges and universities.

The new campaign has been promoted by Hollywood stars such as Samuel L. Jackson and Yellowstone actress Piper Perabo, in addition to former Obama administration official Valerie Jarrett.

In a new video, Michelle Obama teamed up with NBA athlete Chris Paul to play the race card and push propagand. “There are people out there working day in and day out, to make it harder for communities of color, people with disabilities, and young people like you to cast their ballots,” Paul said.

Fact check: there are not “people out there working day in and day out” to suppress the votes of young people, the disabled, or “communities of color.” This is pure race-mongering demagoguery.

There are, however, “people out there” passing election integrity legislation designed to suppress voter fraud, which is what Democrats need to win elections. That’s why Michelle and her celebrity friends need to lie to college students about racist “people out there” trying to take away voting rights.
