Michael Avenatti, who earned the nickname “Creepy Porn Lawyer” for representing President Trump’s alleged ex-mistress Stormy Daniels, was arrested for domestic violence on Wednesday for allegedly attacking a woman.
Avenatti was taken into custody in Los Angeles Wednesday for allegedly leaving the woman’s face “swollen and bruised.” He made bail that evening and said he will be “fully exonerated.”
He later appeared before a group of reporters, again denying the accusations and thanking the LAPD, who he said “had no option in light of the allegations.”
The incident originally took place on Tuesday but LAPD responded to the address Wednesday where Avenatti could be heard saying “She hit me first, This is bulls–t,” according to the TMZ website.
