Even liberal news media called out California Democrat Sen. Dianne Feinstein for a false claim about abortion deaths Wednesday during the confirmation hearing on U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. She stated that between “200,000 and 1.2 million” women died from illegal abortions prior to Roe v. Wade.
“I don’t want to go back to those death tolls in this country,” she warned, but mainstream media outlets like the Associated Press and USA Today condemned Feinstein’s numbers as “vastly overstated” and “dramatically exaggerated.”
