In an unhinged tweet on Friday, filmmaker and leftwing demagogue Rob Reiner predictably blamed former President Trump for the recent attack on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) husband Paul in his home, claiming it was “directly” tied to Trump challenging the legitimacy of the 2020 election.
“The violent assault on Paul Pelosi and the attempt to murder Speaker Pelosi is directly related to that Lie,” wrote the anti-Trump hysteric. “Donald Trump is 100% responsible for this and Jan.6” and “must be indicted and never be allowed to hold office.”
Reiner’s blatantly false claim drew social media fire.
“It is impossible to imagine someone this dim-witted. You are truly bewildering with all due respect of course,” wrote professor Gad Saad.
“The only lie I’ve seen is Russian collusion, that you’ve been spreading for 6 years now,” wrote conservative commentator Tim Young.
“Because everyone knows San Francisco is MAGA country,” mocked author Larry Alex Taunton.
