After President Trump correctly described the Democrat impeachment effort against him as a political “lynching,” several Dem presidential candidates denounced him hyperbolically as a “white supremacist.”
“Lynching is a reprehensible stain on this nation’s history, as is this President,” tweeted 2020 Democrat contender Kamala Harris. “We’ll never erase the pain and trauma of lynching, and to invoke that torture to whitewash your own corruption is disgraceful.” Her competitor Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke said “the legacy of slavery… is alive and well in every part of this country—including in the White House where the president is a white supremacist.”
“Our country has a dark, shameful history with lynching, and to even think about making this comparison is abhorrent,” tweeted Joe Biden (pictured above). Cory Booker added, “Lynching is an act of terror used to uphold white supremacy.”
Ludicrous. Trump has done more for black Americans in 3 years than the Democrat Party has in 50.
