Thursday on MSNBC’s All In, race-mongering Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee argued falsely that “the real question on this Critical Race Theory is why we’re so afraid of race.”
In response to a question on the debate over CRT being taught in schools, Jackson Lee blathered, “You know what we should be teaching is truth.”
No argument there. The issue is: is Critical Race Theory truthful? Of course not. It is ideological subversion, an ugly lie about America that the left wants to propagate to impressionable young minds.
“We held people in bondage, we had a brutal history, meaning America,” Lee continued. “There were masters and slaves. The Constitution did not grant us citizenship or even status as one human being. But we survived and we had the Harriet Tubmans of the world, the Sojourner Truths of the world, we had the Frederick Douglasses of the world. And so, that is the beauty of America. We were resilient. We should tell that story.”
No one argues otherwise. Contrary to the left’s false smears, conservatives do not oppose CRT because they’re afraid to address issues of race, or because they want to whitewash American history. The right opposes CRT because it is not scholarly or factual, but is intellectually fraudulent, racist, anti-American propaganda.
“I think the real question on this Critical Race Theory is why we’re so afraid of race,” Lee argued. “Why is it the third rail? When we are better when we talk about it, when we understand it, and when we acknowledge that my race should not be any more difficult to discuss than the pilgrim’s pride, than of course, our friends who are truly Native Americans or Latinx or LGBTQ or the Asian community or the South Asian community.”
No, the real question is why Sheila Jackson Lee and her Democrat cohorts are weaponizing race and pushing so hard to inculcate our youth with hateful, divisive propaganda. I think we all know the answer.
