L.A. D.A.’s Husband Pulls Gun on Black Lives Matter Activists

The husband of Los Angeles County District Attorney Jackie Lacey aimed a gun from the front door of their home on Monday as activists from the cop-hating Black Lives Matter beat drums and chanted outside.

About 30 Black Lives Matter activists had shown up at the DA’s Granada Hills house to protest her refusal to meet with them. Video from Black Lives Matter LA shows David Lacey at the doorway of their home, pointing a handgun and shouting, “I will shoot you. Get off of my porch.” Both he and his wife are black.

“I don’t care who you are, get off of my porch, right now,” Lacey continued, again pointing the handgun at an offscreen individual later identified as California State Professor of Pan-African Studies Dr. Melina Abdullah. “We’re calling the police,” Lacey added before closing the door.

“Our home is our sanctuary,” Jackie Lacey said in a subsequent press conference. “I do not believe it is fair or right for protesters to show up at the homes of people who dedicate their lives to public service.”
