Speaking before the global elite in Davos, Switzerland on Tuesday, former Secretary of State John Kerry called for President Trump’s resignation.
Asked what message he has for President Trump, Kerry told attendees of CNBC’s World Economic Forum panel that the president doesn’t take his position “seriously” and should “resign.” The audience responded with laughter and applause.
Trump had canceled his delegation’s trip to the World Economic Forum in Davos “[o]ut of consideration for the 800,000 great American workers not receiving pay and to ensure his team can assist as needed,” according to a White House statement.
