In a now-deleted tweet posted on Monday, Vice President Kamala Harris’ niece Meena Harris declared that “violent white men” are the “greatest terrorist threat” to the United States following the mass shooting in Boulder, Colorado, even though the suspect is a devout Muslim from Syria and an ISIS supporter.
“The Atlanta shooting was not even a week ago. Violent white men are the greatest terrorist threat to our country,” tweeted Harris, a New York Times best-selling author, promoting the default leftist position on terrorism.
Harris acknowledged that she removed her tweet on Tuesday because she falsely identified the suspect as white. She defended her smear by claiming her assumption was predicated on the killer “being taken into custody alive and the fact that the majority of mass shootings in the U.S. are carried out by white men.”
Harris was severely, and rightfully, criticized on social media for blaming the shooting on a white male before the facts were known.
