Kamala: On Jan. 6 Our Capitol Was ‘Attacked by Insurgents’

April 30, 2021

After visiting a vaccination site at the M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Vice President Kamala Harris told an audience Thursday that when she first took office, “our Capitol had just been attacked by insurgents,” referring to an unruly mob of supporters of former President Donald Trump storming Capitol Hill on January 6th.

“Our Democracy was under assault and our Capitol had just been attacked by insurgents,” she said. This false narrative echoed a line in President Joe Biden’s address to Congress on Wednesday, in which he described the Capitol Hill chaos as “the worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War.”

So much for Pearl Harbor, 9/11, and the unchecked nationwide rioting from the Marxist revolutionary Black Lives Matter movement in 2020. To Democrats, a giddy mob of selfie-takers, instigated by Antifa and ushered into the Capitol by Capitol police, constituted the worst attack on America in 150 years.

But that’s all behind us now that the Biden administration is Building Back Better. “Things are looking up,” Kamala said. “America is once again on the move.” Yes, it’s on the move toward a globalist, totalitarian, one-party state, making America unexceptional again.
