California Democrat Sen. Kamala Harris and Planned Parenthood are catching heat after accusing Judge Brett Kavanaugh of describing contraceptives as “abortion-inducing drugs” when he was only summarizing the position of a pro-life group.
Harris and Planned Parenthood are being called out for disseminating an edited video distorting Kavanaugh’s comments during his Supreme Court confirmation hearing Thursday about a case he had ruled on involving former Pres. Obama’s contraceptive mandate. White House Deputy Spokesman Raj Shah said the video was an “obvious act of deception.”
