Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) stoked controversy on Monday at a CNN town hall in Des Moines, Iowa, suggesting private health care plans be abolished.
Asked by host Jake Tapper if people could keep their plan under her “Medicare-for-All” plan, presidential hopeful Harris replied, “Well, listen, the idea is that everyone gets access to medical care.
