Speaking at a “drive-in rally” in Tucson, Arizona, Democrat VP pick Kamala Harris told voters that she and running mate Joe Biden were fighting for a “long-overdue reckoning on racial injustice in America.”
“We are in the midst of a crisis, which is the long-overdue reckoning on racial injustice in America,” she said, referring to the nationwide looting, rioting, and violence of Black Lives Matter “protesters.”
“On that note, Joe Biden knows Americans’ history,” she continued. “He knows our history as a country. And he has the courage to speak truth about it. Joe Biden has the ability to say, ‘Black Lives Matter.’ Donald Trump will never speak those words.” Fact check: false. Trump has spoken those words. But the issue is not whether one can say those words, but whether one supports the BLM movement, which is Marxist and revolutionary. Biden does, and Trump does not.
“Joe Biden knows that we need to look at racial disparities in America…” Harris added. “Joe Biden says pay attention to this and understand, a real leader will address the truth and speak the truth in a way that is about promoting equality and equity.”
Trump has done more for blacks in America in four years than Democrats have in 50. To promote equality and equity, ridding America of the Democrat Party would be a good start.
