Kamala Blames Coronavirus on ‘Structural Racism,’ Injustice’

August 20, 2020

In her speech at the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday, VP pick Kamala Harris blamed the disproportionate numbers of nonwhite coronavirus victims on “structural racism” and “injustice.”

“While this virus touches us all, we gotta be honest, it is not an equal opportunity offender,” Harris argued. “Black, Latino, indigenous people are suffering and dying disproportionately.” Why? According to Harris, “This virus, it has no eyes, and yet it knows exactly how we see each other and how we treat each other.” Oh? How does it do that? That doesn’t sound particularly scientific; it sounds like ideological nonsense.

Harris naturally slammed President Trump’s purported “incompetence” and “callousness” for making us feel “afraid” and “alone.” “We must elect a president who will bring something different, something better. Right now we have a president who turns our tragedies into political weapons,” said Harris, whose party politicizes and weaponizes tragedies. “Joe [Biden] will be a president that will turn our challenges into purpose.”

No, Biden and Harris will turn our challenges into a progressive dystopia from which America won’t recover.
