Speaking at the American Muslims for Palestine conference in Chicago on Friday, Palestinian-American activist and Louis Farrakhan supporter Linda Sarsour claimed Israel is built on Jewish “supremacy.”
“How can you be against white supremacy in the United States of America, and the idea of living in a supremacist state based on race and class, but then you support a state like Israel, that is built on supremacy — that is built on the idea that Jews are supreme to everybody else?” Sarsour had the nerve to declare. Apparently she was addressing pro-Israel Democrats, whom she has sought to marginalize in the Party.
Former NY State Assemblyman Dov Hikind, a staunch supporter of Israel, tweeted correctly in response that Israel was built not on “Jewish supremacy” but “on 3,500 years of Jewish self determination fighting those who seek our annihilation in each generation!”
That would include Islamic supremacists like Sarsour.
