Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) will be the keynote speaker at a fundraiser for the Los Angeles branch of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) on March 23.
The event will be held in Woodland Hills in the San Fernando Valley, and comes in the wake of accusations of anti-Semitism for Omar’s allegations that the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) pays members of Congress to support Israel. AIPAC does not donate to candidates.
CAIR’s political action committee in California donated the maximum of $5,000 to Omar’s 2018 campaign, according to Breitbart.
