‘I Am Not a Communist,’ Claims Communist Bernie

February 10, 2020

On Fox News Sunday, 2020 White House hopeful Sen. Bernie Sanders denied he is a communist and accused President Trump of not knowing the difference between communism and socialism.

After viewing a video of Trump saying, “I think he is a communist. I think of communism when I think of Bernie. You can say socialist. Didn’t he get married in Moscow?”, Sanders said, “It gives me no pleasure to say this, we have a president who is a pathological liar. He lies. No, I did not get married in Moscow. I participated in creating a sister city program.” (But he did honeymoon in Russia).

“Obviously, I am not a communist,” Sanders added. “I presume the president knows the difference. Maybe he doesn’t.” He continued: “The difference between my socialism and Trump’s socialism is I believe the govt. should help working families, not billionaires.”

Sanders has demonstrated throughout his career that there is no difference between his “democratic socialism” and the communist regimes he admires.
