Hirono: Trump Doesn’t Want ‘Brown,’ ‘Black,’ ‘Yellow’ People

August 14, 2019

Tuesday on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, Sen. Mazie Hirono stated irrationally that it’s “very clear” President Trump doesn’t want any black, brown or yellow people in the United States.

Commenting on the proposed public charge rule, a new regulation where legal immigrants would be less likely to secure a permanent residency in the United States if they have used any forms of welfare in the past, Hirono called it an “all-out assault on immigration.”

“It’s very clear who the president doesn’t want in our country and basically, you know, it’s all the countries that he’s called s-hole countries,” Hirono claimed. It’s brown people, it’s black people who are already here, yellow people from Asia. I mean, some of the longest lines for legal visas are people waiting in line in the Philippines and Asian countries, so it’s all about keeping a whole bunch of people out of our country, even as we need these workers, by the way.”

In fact, America doesn’t need low-wage immigrant workers so much as Democrats like Hirono need low-information voters.
