On Thursday, failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton reacted to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi‘s announcement that House Democrats will move forward with articles of President Trump’s impeachment, asserting that “no one is above the law.”
“In the United States of America, no one is above the law,” Hillary wrote following Pelosi’s announcement, prompting a flood of social media comments mocking her hypocrisy. “Hillary Clinton’s stating that nobody’s above the law… We’ve reached peak absurdity. We have no place to go from here,” one commenter tweeted.
Hillary has supported Trump’s impeachment from the sidelines. She had previously tweeted, “The question is not whether Trump has committed impeachable crimes. He has.” To clarify this remark: Trump has not.
Just as they do with the Constitution and Christianity, Democrats only claim to side with the law when it suits their agenda to affect righteousness. The truth is that in the United States, no one is above the law unless he or she is Democrat (or an illegal alien).
